March "Green" 2010

Climate change is such an important issue and with Earth Day
approaching, let's make sure we help our neighbors, near and far.

I'm working on designs for environmental issues and designing
"green" logos and things.

The City of Hoboken

Working with Geri Fallo, Cultural Affairs director, to the left you see the final version of the Census poster, which should be up around town soon, to alert people to make sure they're counted in the Census.

Working with Ian Sacs, the director of the Department of Transportation, I have designed two new logos. One is for the crosstown bus system, which will be called "The Hop." Designing the branding with a friendly look and feel, we're confident more people will "hop" on the bus and leave their cars behind.

The city also has some new hybrid cars, so we've developed a logo for the Hoboken Parking Utility. This logo will go on the vehicles so residents can see the city is going "green."

Bike JC
I have joined the group Bike JC (that's Jersey City for those not in the area) so that I can help the others in the group to build a bike-friendly city. My first design assignment was this sticker to the right. I look forward to helping them at the events coming soon.

Earth Day 2010
I am designing new posters to promote Earth Day, which is coming on 4.22.2010. They are 18" x 24."

The first poster, pictured to the left, is a collaboration with photographer John Crittenden and is available on my blog at this address: i-tees.com

The second is a collaboration with Save The Frogs founder, Kerry Kriger, who took this wonderful frog photograph. This poster is available on the Frogs Are Green blog and proceeds from the sales will go to "Save The Frogs."

Below are other Earth Day posters available at Frogs Are Green.

Frogs Are Green
Mary Jo Rhodes and I continue to blog about frog-related topics. Some of our recent posts are:
First Monogamous Frogs Discovered
Wood Frogs Are (Almost) Celebrating Spring
A Frog Love Shack

We've put together assorted materials, t-shirts, books, posters, flyers, and wristbands for a display case in Hoboken City Hall. If you're in town, please check it out on the 2nd floor.

We have a Facebook cause page to make it easy for people to show they care. You can join for FREE, or donate if you wish, to Amphibian Ark.

Please visit our blog, check out the galleries, and feel free to comment at: FrogsAreGreen.com

Also in the works.... custom blogs, websites, book projects,
email newsletters, and assorted print marketing assignments.

Check out what's new on the website!
- Warmest regards, Susan
